Vela AI ("we", "us", "our") is operated by FetchLogic Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account data: Email address and authentication credentials provided at signup.
• Usage data: Feature usage, credit consumption, and session activity — used for billing, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
• Input content: Text prompts, uploaded images, and audio files you submit for AI generation. These are processed in real-time and not stored long-term on our servers beyond session duration.
• Generated outputs: AI-generated images and audio may be temporarily cached for delivery. We do not use your outputs to train AI models.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and fraud prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process credit transactions and prevent fraud
• Send service-related communications (no marketing without consent)
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
• Monitor for abuse and enforce regional restrictions

3. Third-Party AI Providers

Your inputs are transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate outputs. These providers have their own privacy policies:

• Inworld AI (TTS) — inworld.ai/privacy-policy

We minimize data sharing with these providers to what is necessary to fulfill your request. We do not share your account identity with AI providers — inputs are transmitted without personally identifying information where possible.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and for 90 days after deletion. Usage logs are retained for 12 months for billing and fraud analysis. Uploaded files are not stored beyond the current session unless you explicitly save outputs.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR. California users have rights under CCPA. To exercise your rights, email privacy@fetchlogic.net.
